It Started With Gianna.
Every great mission begins with a story. For our family, that story is Gianna.
Her journey with autism and cerebral palsy has taught us about perseverance, unconditional love, faith, patience, courage, and the dignity of every human life.
Gianna has taught us to celebrate milestones others may overlook, find hope during difficult seasons, and recognize the extraordinary value found within every child.
She inspired the creation of X Marks the Spot Foundation, but the mission extends to every child and family walking a similar journey.
We believe families deserve to be seen, understood, encouraged, and supported.
Not all treasure is silver and gold. Sometimes treasure is a child who changes your heart forever.

Understanding Autism
Autism can affect how a child communicates, interacts, learns, processes information, experiences sensory input, and understands the world around them.
Every autistic child is different.
Greater understanding helps families, schools, businesses, churches, and communities create environments where children can feel supported, accepted, included, and valued.
Understanding Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral palsy is a group of lifelong conditions that can affect movement, posture, coordination, balance, and mobility.
Every child's experience with cerebral palsy is different.
Awareness, accessibility, encouragement, education, and community support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
