Gianna has autism, and she experiences and interacts with the world in her own way. She notices things others miss, connects on her own terms, and teaches those around her to slow down and see more.
Gianna also has cerebral palsy, which affects her movement and mobility. Each step, each new skill, and each day of effort reflects the perseverance she brings to everything she does.
Along the way there have been milestones to celebrate, challenges to meet, and accomplishments that fill her family with pride. Each one is a moment of progress and resilience, held together by love and faith.

That realization inspired X Marks the Spot Foundation. Gianna is the heart of the mission, and the foundation exists to represent and support many children and families on similar journeys.
